What is Dew Point in High-Pressure Systems?

The Dew Point must be tightly controlled in high-pressure applications because compression increases moisture concentration. Kenox High-Pressure Dryers are engineered to guarantee a stable Pressure Dew Point, ensuring no liquid condensation occurs downstream. This is essential for protecting expensive systems like boosters, PET blowing machinery, and laser cutting equipment.

How Does the High-Pressure Dryer Work?

Our reinforced refrigerated drying cycle uses a specialized, high-integrity heat exchanger capable of handling the flow and force of high-pressure air. The air is meticulously cooled, causing maximum water vapor to condense. This liquid is then reliably expelled via an automatic valve, guaranteeing consistent ISO Air Quality even under peak loads.

  • High-Pressure Auto Drain: Utilizes a heavy-duty, electronic (Digital) timer-operated Auto Drain Valve rated for high-pressure service, ensuring zero air loss and reliable condensate discharge.
  • OZONE Friendly Refrigerants: Filled with environmentally compliant, OZONE Friendly refrigerants (R-134a, R-410A, or R-407C) that perform reliably under all operating conditions.
  • Reliable Performance: Features a stable, non-cyclic refrigeration system with hot gas bypass for maintaining a consistent dew point regardless of load fluctuations or high ambient temperatures.
